Screwbitz... To (Mostly) Done

Da Mad Mek Screwbitz.  Scourge of Chrysos VII.  Blessed by Mork (and possibly Gork).  Visionary. Leader of the Klanz.

More machine than Ork, Screwbitz, dubbed Da Mad Mek, is the force behind all of the recent activity on the moon of Chrysos VII.  Once an Imperial mining operation, Chrysos VII was abandoned after a vicious Warp Storm eliminated contact with the Imperium for nearly 100 years. Using old Imperial technology, Screwbitz discovered how to make a distress signal and is broadcasting it across the system to lure any space-faring beings to the surface for a good scrap.  Screwbitz has dreams of building his own Krewza in order to spread across the system.

Screwbitz was one heck of a kit bash.  I wanted my Big Mek and leader of my armies to be an impressive sight.  I used all sorts of stuff to make him but the main component was a set of War Walkers I picked up on eBay a few months ago.

That's one "BIG" Big Mek!

He has a Kustom Mega Blasta that uses some of the computer parts I collected a few posts back.  I plan to cover the copper wire before I prime him because I like the way it looks in its natural state.  I also have a KFF option for him.
MOAR Computer partz!
I have wires coming from his spine into most of the appendages.
Whoops! That's a big mold line... I'll get to that.

Now I just need to get some paint on him!  Thanks for checking it out!

    1. Thanks Greg! I really hope I can pull off a paint job worthy of this guy. Also, I can't wait to see more of your Tuska project. I heard them review your list on "Signals from the Frontline." Thanks again for checking out my blog.

    2. Of course! I always try to hit up everyones blog, but sometimes the blog rolls cycle weirdly, so I miss some for awhile :(.

I knew the Front line gaming guys would have a field day with that list. I was laughing at all the commentary "Huh...he named the orks? Those are klans frankie...."

    3. That was bad, even for Frankie. I was laughing out loud.

  2. You're right, the copper parts look fine just how they are. I love how unique this figure looks compared to other ork stuff... it reminds me of something cool that a saw but I just can't put my finger on it...

    2. Ha! I figured it out. He reminds me of some of the quirky creatures in a video clip by an Australian singer (Gotye). I just posted a clip if you want to take a look. Your blog is one of the very few I read; quality over quantity I say ;-)
