Off we go ...

I finished 3 exams over the last few days and quite a bit of homework.  My schedule also changed at work so it has been a hectic couple of weeks.  I did manage to get a little bit of hobby time in as a reward to passing all of my exams.  One of my favorite things in the codex are Dakkajets so I decided to build me another one!  I started with this:

And turned it into:

All sorts of bits made their way onto this conversion.  I have pieces from the Gorkanaut, the Dakkajet, Burna-Boyz, Warbikerz, and more.

The wings were the last thing I added since I felt it didn't look right.  I was happy I did!

I put a grot on the back tossin' some stick-bombs.  I am glad I finished another jet since the one I built with my Dad broke.  I am going to rebuild it a little smaller and more in line with the dimensions of the real kit.  I am also going to make it a bit sturdier.  Thanks for checking it out.

Also!  I am going to be working on expanding my blog-roll so if you want to get on let me know.  Just be 40k related.  Thanks!

  1. The wings make it look so much better, good choice ;-) Additionally, I don't think there is a single thing in the Citadel range that wouldn't look cool with a Grot hanging off the back throwing a stick-bomb...

  3. The Mad Mek, great way to enhance a rather poor design of a model, was never a fan of the storm talon. You really made something great here. Excellent job!

    1. It really is a poor looking model normally. That's the benefit of looking at things with an ork perspective. Thanks for the compliment.
