The Independent Characters Hobby Progress Challenge

I finally did it!

When I heard earlier in the year that the Independent Characters was calling it quits, I was pretty bummed out.  As you know I am pretty new to this hobby and one thing that I wanted to be a part of since I learned about it, was the IC's Hobby Progress Challenge.  Yet with no show, Carl decided he would not be putting on a challenge this year.  I love to listen to Podcasts while I am painting or modeling and the IC's is my favorite.  I actually downloaded and listened to all of their back episodes.

However, all is not lost!  Adan and Loopy, the Forum moderators, have decided to run the challenge themselves!   SO now I can participate!  I missed the January and February commitments (mainly because of the Dark Eldar) but know I am focused on Orks!  Wish me luck!  I also want these goals to be in line with my 2014/2015 To Do list which is why I jumped to the Stormboyz.  I was considering the Stompa but I think I have too much base coating on... I'll double check with Loopy and maybe use it for my April commitment.  Thanks for checking it out!

 

 

 

Base Coats!

OH!  One more thing.  Two of my friends both went to LVO this year, both playing Dark Eldar.  My friend Mike went 2-4 at his first ever GT.  My friend Zeus (From my Battle Report Series) Went 4-2 and took Best Dark Eldar!  He got a pass to compete in any event at next years LVO!  Congratulations Zeus!  Glad all those poundings you gave me paid off.
