I'm still around, just really busy

Thanks for checking in on me.  I have been very busy with work and school but I have been squeezing in hobby time every so often. I'll try to post something soon and show off my minimal progress.

2016/2017 Hobby Season To Do List

The 2016/2017 Hobby Season is here!  I was very pleased with my results from last season.  I managed to achieve the majority of  my painting goals, however, modeling took a backseat for most of the year.  Here is what I will be working on for this season:'

2015/2016 Hobby Challenge results

I am a few days behind, but I wanted to go over the progress I made during the last Hobby season.  Dave Weston of 40k Addict puts forth a hobby season challenge every year to help motivate our community to paint.  If you want to check out some amazing Tyranids and Dark Angels, go visit his page!  Last August I laid out my hobby goals for the year and I made some progress.  Walk with me down memory lane.

Because I hate sleeping

Greetings all!  After a prolonged absence the Mad Mek has finally returned.  The new school semester has started, I continue to work 50 hours a week, I am running a D&D game, and I have been writing a bit.  All of these things make it hard to hobby, but I am close to finding the right balance.  I have done a few things these past two months, but I am way behind on my commitments as the 2015/2016 hobby season draws to a close.  Let's look inside the workshop and see what I have done.

Vacation over!

Summer vacation is over!  New progress incoming!  New paint jobs! New scratch builds!  Sorry for my absence.  I will have an update on Monday or Tuesday with actual pictures and stuff.  Thanks for stopping in.  More to come.
